After a fabulous formal night last night, brilliant table companions and the Killer Queen show, one of our favourites superbly preformed we wakened to a beautiful sunny day in Jamaica
We had a very lazy breakfast to let the tours and the early rush off then headed to the taxi hoping to have a wander round then hit the beach. It was $7 each in a right bone shaker, how it delivered 12 of us safely into town is a bit of a mystery
A walk along Hip Strip took all of 10 minutes. There were lots of the standard Jamaican gift shop/stalls but they were all a bit grubby and we didn’t really feel comfortable shopping there, so hubby will be pleased to know we bought nothing here either!

Call me shallow but I love a Starbucks chai latte. We checked out a couple of beaches, the second had a Starbucks with a walk up window on the beach, so guess where we stayed. Yes I had an Almond Milk Starbucks Chai Latte, on a beach, in Jamaica

One of the classes I teach is Girl on a Beach, so this may well be Boy on a Beach
The beach, changing room and toilets were really clean. Admission was $8 each and we also paid for a chair each & an umbrella. Not cheap but clean and safe, there were lots of other ship passengers there so we looked after each others bags while swimming. The water was cool and calm, pure bliss, we spent ages swimming & just floating about chilling

You’re always hungry after a swim so we sampled the beach cafe, you put your orange flag up when you wanted to order & a waiter came over. This was really good value at $16, we shared it & couldn’t finish it. The pizza base was quite unusual, almost bread like, but very tasty

Back to the ship for a sailaway party, which was as always great fun led by this amazing team
I know I’ve posted loads of photos this time, but I couldn’t resist finishing with this one as Arcadia leaves Jamaica
Sea Day tomorrow

Looks a great day. We join you in March. Just looking at trips.
