All around Cuba

One blog for the 2 sea days as we make our way around Cuba heading for Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Yesterday everyone was tired after the long day in Port Everglades, plus the sun had gone into hiding, so it was pretty quiet around the ship, though classes were as busy as ever!

Last night’s entertainment was a pianist which we didn’t fancy and Pulse were to play on the aft deck, we did go up after dinner, but it would have blown you away, thankfully their last set of the night was moved into The Globe, but it wasn’t any warmer in there so we only stayed for a few numbers

My Facebook memories show me that 3 years ago today I was craft tutor on Fred Olsen in exactly the same area, Caribbean and Central America where it was really warm, and thankfully the sun did indeed reappear today – I love my winter sun!

Tonight’s Sunset

It’s formal night tonight, and we have just been treated to this fabulous sunset, that’s Janes photo, it’s still very pleasant on deck, I’m sitting in a towel on the aft deck having had a lovely swim and hot tub after the gym

Captain has just announced that at 4pm the temp was 30 degrees, he’s made a much friendlier announcement tonight, obviously took onboard the guest comments!

That’s me off to get glammed up. See you tomorrow after Jamaica
