Second time I’ve been to the Bahamas, second time I haven’t got off.
We have absolutely no idea why we were unable to get off in Freeport today. According to the Captain”s regular announcements he has no idea either. He told us at one point they were in contact with the counties Deputy Prime minister. There’s no doubt negotiations went on most of the morning to no avail and we all stayed onboard.
So here we are back at sea after a gloriously sunny day heading for our next port, Port Everglades tomorrow – keep your fingers & toes crossed we get in there!

Last nights dinner was fantastic, with the goats cheese being particularly delicious. I have to make the boring confession that I’ve been really good and haven’t sampled one pudding yet, sticking to the fruit salad which is a fruit pot from the buffet!

Wifi was a bit sketchy, so sitting out on the aft deck trying to upload yesterday’s blog I was treated to this fabulous orange moon. Spookily I think it looks like there’s a face in the wake.
And that’s pretty much it for today, blue sky and calm blue sea will hopefully stay with us all the way to Florida as we sail slowly along…
.
Great moon shot. Cold and wet here . Enjoy the sunshine.
