What a joy to come down to the promenade deck this morning (inside cabin) to glorious, bright sunshine and everyone already talking about how warm it was outside!
But first back to last night, the first Black Tie event of the cruise, second formal night

We scrubbed up not too bad and headed down for dinner, we are happy to share a table so again, walked straight into the dining room, no waiting for a table

I’d the vegetable tempura which was exceptional, followed by the baked avocado which perhaps wasn’t the best choice, everyone else on our table enjoyed their main meal though with Guinea Fowl, Lamb & Lemon Sole all being sampled at the table.

Cheese & Biscuits was as always delicious. Jane had the Baked Alaska also very good. The Vocalist Shona was in the theatre, and Pulse were having a night off so we ended up at Karaoke in the Rising Sun Bar which was actually really good, with one singer dedicating her song – that’s for you Jimmy, even after 51 years I still love you! Thankfully Jimmy seemed to feel the same way.

This mornings sun certainly didn’t reduce class attendance, we are currently averaging around 40 in the 9am class
Between classes we managed an hour on the aft deck with a book, well I did, Jane did washer woman! Leave your laundry in a tumble dryer and someone will empty it, tumbling or not! Cabin has the look of a Chinese laundry lol

Busker Mike did a few sets outside in the afternoon sun, with Pulse due to play outside this evening. Tonight we also have a Caribbean Barbecue
John Altman, or Nick Cotton from Eastenders is onboard though we haven’t made to any of his talks which I’m told are really good
Today also sees the ship in their summer uniform and Officers Whites
Todays Class was street art with the East Bay Dancers in Freeport
See you tomorrow
Suzanne
Thanks Suzanne. I will share them.
