World Cruise Day 4

Last night was our first formal or celebration night of the cruise and we forgot to get our complimentary glass of bubbles – never mind we will keep our voucher for the next Celebration Night.

Pre covid I’d bought this gold dress in the sale at TK Maxx, £25 reduced from £180, so it finally got its first outing

We had a very pleasant dinner on a table for 6. Not eating meat or fish P&O really pulled out the stops, I fancied all the veg with the beef Wellington so they just swopped the Beef for the Mushroom Pastry on the starter menu and Hey Presto! Mushroom Wellington!

Entertainment last night was from Manuel Martinez from ‘Habana Cuba’ we have seen him before but he is funny so went along before bed. Apparently it was a very rough night, I slept right through it lol

I’m attempting to learn French & Spanish with the lovely Andrea who has had to add a second Spanish class meaning we can attend

Today in Art Classes we painted a landscape in monotone. We had slightly quieter classes 33 in the morning and 54 in the afternoon

Seas are rough enough but the sun is trying really hard to make an appearance. Today’s temperature 15 degrees
