I told no one!
Six weeks ago an email popped up in my inbox inviting me to be art tutor on the P&O World Cruise.
I honestly couldn’t believe it, was completely amazed but I told nobody, only Keith and Jane who if I was able to accept would come with me
I’ve spoken recently about Keiths health problems so we had to chat about what this meant for us. He’s concerned, he didn’t want to see me go, but he also fully supports my dreams and this is reliving my teenage dream to work my way around the world.
It’s not often you get a second chance at your dreams, so here I am, bobbing about somewhere mid Atlantic teaching art on a cruise ship!

So with 64 art classes prepared, over 3000 photos and other resources packed I find myself on the beautiful Arcadia, where so far, 2 days in the classes are overflowing
The emails arrival conveniently clashed with the Black Friday sales, allowing some panic buying and wardrobe updating.
Current temps are 14 degrees with passing showers – that’s a summer day in Northern Ireland!
And the blog has started! We just got wifi, so I’m really going to try hard to record the memories here
Class 1 – Kingfisher 31 in morning 61 in afternoon
Class 2 – Solent Sails. A watercolour wash class – 42 in morning 70+ in afternoon. I’ve no more seats
The blogs really for our memories. But I hope you’ll join us along the way
