Simply one of the most stunning places I have been

Fabulous floral displays everywhere

Day one involved 2 ships tours, Shanghai Old & New where I got promoted to flag lady

Loved walking round the old town & French concession

And followed this with a trip up to the 88th floor of a skyscraper in the fog

Following our foggy adventure we recovered with a cup of royal China tea. The random passenger selected to take the picture wasn’t iPhone friendly

Or maybe she needed tea

We said goodbye to our lovely guide Rachel

Then it was off to our second trip of the day to the acrobat show with more flowers on the way

Dinner was voted just OK here’s the veggie option

The trees lit up at night were gorgeous, sadly pictures from bus were blurry but I’m looking forward to seeing moving illuminated Christmas decorations at home in a few years

Sadly after the show our guide got us lost, deciding for some reason to take the service lift he took 20 or so of us to the basement were an unsuspecting ambulance was waiting, shepherded back into the lift he took us back to the top of the house were a strange saga of locked ladies loo’s & magicians doves unfolded, before some passengers got really cross and insisted he phone the ship! Somehow we got working lifts & made it back to the bus!
