Beware the slides of March (K)

Wow….that’s brisk weather. March 2018…in like a lion, out like the Easter Bunny.

-8c at home last night but it felt colder when I was walking Sebastian at 10pm. That wind ‘wud cut yee in two’. It’s a really lovely type of snow though. Very powdery. When we were walking up the road this morning it was blowing into our faces and the dogs were constantly shaking their heads and I was choking on it. We fed Oaty some bread as he was covered in snow. Poor donkey.

Delivered to Belleek earlier. Went over the mountain and was amazed how little snow there was. You could nearly see where it started and finished.

Another trade enquiry this morning. I’ve to send a stock list as he’s not happy with his current ‘supplier’. He told me the wholesale price he was paying and how much he makes on a jar. My jaw hit the floor. I’m 35% cheaper per jar and his profit would be 150% more on each of my jars sold. Maybe I need to look at my prices (I won’t though). We haven’t raised either our wholesale prices or our retail prices since 2013. That must be some sort of record in today’s world.

Whilst the folks up t’country were moaning about a few millimetres of snow (down here Suzanne only moans when she gets a right few inches…..😍) and staying home from school/work to play their X-Boxes I was out in the snow chopping wood and sawing up doors to fit in the van for the dump. Grrrr….I’m a tiger.😁

On the other hand, literally, I’ve had a boo boo (scalf) on my thumb since Sunday. Tried to tweezer it out but broke it. Every time I grab something it jags it in. Meeow….I’m a pussycat 😂

I always love the ability of a song or a piece of music to change your mood. I downloaded a song onto my other phone yesterday that I hadn’t listened to in a few weeks. Plugged the headphones in and walked in the snow. Just lifted my spirits.

My favourite guitarist ‘Favourited’ one of my tweets yesterday. Chuffed to bits. I met him once. He was lovely. He gets to play with Deep Purple….what could be better than that 😎

Right, that’ll do for now. Must go and do some labelling.

Toodles.
