So, my thinking that once the orders were delivered yesterday I’d be able to ‘toodle around’ for a few days. But no……

Having wondered why, after the deluge of orders for it last week, we hadn’t got any sales of G&T Marmalade on eBay I checked only to find we had sold out the listing. I re-listed at 6pm yesterday (Mon) and within two hours had orders for 15 more jars….and 6 more this morning. I’m going to have to make another batch tomorrow. With another order coming through as well it’s looks like my ‘hiatus’ will be on hiatus for a while yet 😁

My dad had his monthly checkup at the Cancer Clinic yesterday and all is fine. They are well pleased with him. Turns out he had had an undiagnosed kidney infection all along but it has cleared up and he’s feeling much better all round.

Just before I left Fermanagh yesterday I texted my sister to say I was delivering in Belfast and would meet her and my dad for lunch after his appointment. ‘I’m not going with him’ she replied….’I thought Becky was’. I checked with Becky who knew nothing about it….but she got up and despite having a cold walked the two miles to my dad’s to go with him. God love her…she brought a notebook to take notes for him 😍 For those that don’t know I’m 100 miles from my dad and my brother and sister are 1 mile away from him. I did meet up with Becky and my dad after his appointment and we went for coffee. I had thought that maybe there had been a genuine mistake…until my dad told me my sister had rang late on Sunday night to tell him she couldn’t go with him….I wanted to read the riot act but dad told me not to…furious 😡

More tree/bramble removals on Sunday. Hands cut to ribbons despite wearing gloves but I love that. It’s manly. The fact that I only put the heat on when I feel the need to means when I get up the house is freezing these mornings (twas -4c last night). That’s manly as well. I’m more manly than Manly in Australia 😉

A good friend, who shall remain nameless, is going into hospital for an op next month (Good luck Sheenagh) An old war wound is playing up so she’s having her sense of humour removed……She told me yesterday that she’s being ‘cooking like mad’ so her hubby has dinner. ‘Wait…WHAT???’….ally that to the comment from a neighbour…’I suppose you’re at the Chinese every night’ and another friend who asked ‘does Suzanne leave food for you?’ made me laugh. W. T. A. F. Is the boss getting off lightly???

The good weather is inspiring my Fitbitching. Having activated it 4 weeks ago today I’m on 486700 steps. I’m hoping to hit half a million steps today. That’s 232 miles walked. WHOO YAH 😁😁😁

Right, washing on, vacuuming done, orders packed and posted so it’s shopping time.
