Gatwick airport and an overnight stay

I used booking.com to book the in-airport hotel bloc.

My daughter has never forgiven me for the hostel we stayed in, in Glasgow, referring to it as a prison cell, a windowless room in an airport, could this be worse?

  
Check in was so easy, all prepaid so straight up to the room….

I was in 611 – there was no 613 so they must be superstitious

Massive comfy bed, lots of pillows, cool lighting controlled by a tablet (took me a while to work that out) stacks of towels & complimentary water, what more could a girl want?  Maybe a wet room with a waterfall shower & a hairdryer in a bag!

  
There’s just the airport dining but there’s a book of discount vouchers in the room.  Dinner was at neighbouring Giraffe with lush sweet potato fries

Top value and so convenient for an early morning flight
